Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage Therapy is offered at Golden Plains Myotherapy & Massage Clinic, located just outside Bannockburn in the Golden plains Shire.  Virginia  is a Qualified Remedial Massage therapist and completed her studies at VFA in Geelong  and holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage.

Remedial Massage is used to treat muscles that are damaged, tense, knotted  and or immobilized. With Remedial massage we are taught to  systematically assess and treat the muscles, tendons and ligaments which have been effected, and work in a plan to help rehabilitate the client back to full health. Remedial Massage therapist  have a very strong knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to help treat their clients, remedial massage can also be used to  help manipulate the soft tissues of the body further helping recovery.
